Job Description:
As an Experienced Veterinary Technician at Ord Animal Clinic you will play a crucial role in delivering highquality veterinary care to our patients. You will work closely with our team of veterinarians and support staff to ensure the wellbeing of animals and provide excellent service to our clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting veterinarians during examinations surgeries and procedures.
- Performing laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
- Administering medications and treatments.
- Preparing and maintaining surgical and treatment areas.
- Educating clients on pet care and treatment plans.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
Requirements:
- Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Previous experience working as a veterinary technician is required.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medical procedures and terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
