idAM Systems Administrator, Principal

Enterprise Solutions and Management (ESM) is a rapidly growing government contractor that provides strategic IT services that meet mission needs for Defense and Federal customers. We are hiring a idAM Systems Administrator Principal for an exciting opportunity located in Albany Georgia.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Perform applications installation configuration and management on Whats Up Gold Splunk Oracle Enterprise Manager Apache Tomcat IIS and similar applications/systems. Work with stakeholders team members and sponsors to manage and support applications over various operating system (OS) platforms including Windows Red Hat Linux and Virtual Cloud Technologies. Web Logic and Identity and Access Management (IdAM) Administrator installs Web Logic and IdAM software and associated components to work in a distributed or single mode environment. Configure this software to work optimally with various application software business software operating systems and database management systems. Apply updates to include security directives as required. Establish database connections for development testing and production environment while executing in these environments. Document Web Logic and IdAM installation and configuration procedures as required.

Required Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSA)

• Installing application software over a variety of OS software and configure per instructions/customers request.
• Configuring application software to perform optimally.
• Uninstalling application software.
• Integrating application software with DBMS(s) risk mitigation/monitoring agents.
• Installing application software and connect to web servers other application servers database management software or storage devices.
• Applying IA policies and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
• Reading /listening to written/verbal instructions to upgrade application programs.
• Supporting application cohosting in a clustered environment.
• Designing managing implementing and configuring file systems disks zones and other storage medial on various storage devices in a RAID.
• Designing managing implementing and configuring virtual hosting software to support cohosting multiple applications DBMS(s) business applications or OS(s).
• Integrating application software to OS(s) DBMS(s) and business applications monitoring agents risk mitigation agents backup/recovery agents network devices and storage devices.
• Creating/modifying/updating/closing trouble tickets and work orders and to coordinate incident resolutions with the G6 Help Desk via a customer services solution.
• Documenting procedures for applications management and tasks utilizing smartbooks standard operating procedures work instructions and other relevant documentation processes; provide metrics and reports that show applications are accessible and functional.
• Installing maintaining and configuring Web Logic and IdAM across various platforms (Windows Red Hat Linux virtual/cloud environments.)
• Performing analysis to assist in developing the proper environments and load testing using approved tools.
• Analyzing database and/or system logs to determine the cause of problem(s) and to implement a solution to resolve Grid problem(s) using approved analytical tools such as Tools for Oracle Developers (TOAD) and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).
• Interfacing closely with the Enterprise Backup and Recovery Support team such as allocating/de allocating data operating managing troubleshooting and working with the SAN Engineer to ensure that the data is protected and report on data storage events and conditions to management and/or Enterprise Backup and Recovery.
• Integrate operating system software to web services application software business applications database management systems monitoring agents risk mitigation agents backup/recovery agents network devices virtual/cloud technologies and storage devices.
• Integrate web services to operating systems application software database management systems business applications monitor agents risk mitigation agents backup/recovery agents network devices and storage devices.
• Integrate application software to operating systems database management business applications monitoring agents risk mitigation agents backup/recovery agents network devices and storage devices.
• Integrate database management systems to operating systems business applications monitoring agents risk mitigation agents backup/recovery agents network devices and storage devices.
• Design manage implement and configure logical units numbers file systems disks zones and other storage medial on various storage devices in a RAID.
• Perform general analysis/problem resolution and performance monitoring/management as outlined in paragraph
• Performing analysis to assist in developing the proper environments and load testing using approved tools.

Minimum Training Education and Certifications

• BS & 7 12 years experience
• 8570 IAT ii Certification (EG: Sec )
• Must have Computing Environment (CE) certification in Windows Red Hat Linux virtual/cloud environments
• Ability to perform duties with little or no supervision

Minimum Clearance

• Secret clearance (interim secret clearance is acceptable on a case by case basis)

Physical Requirements

• Required to stand walk and sit; communicate verbally both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop kneel bend crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision depth perception color vision and the ability to adjust focus.

• Physical demands associated with this position may include extensive walking (including stairs) throughout offices and between buildings. May require use of personal or Government vehicle to drive to local and/or remote office locations.
