Job Description
Job Title: Mens Basketball Coach
Location: Talladega College
Department: Athletics
Position Type: Fulltime
Reports to: Athletic Director
Position Overview:
Talladega College NAIA member of the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference is accepting applications for the position of Head Mens Basketball Coach. This position is a Fulltime 12month assignment reporting to the Director of Athletics.
Responsibilities:
Overall management of the program including coaching recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified studentathletes in a rigorous academic environment.
Scheduling and budget management and travel arrangements.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited institution required; Masters degree preferred; minimum of three to five years of successful coaching experience at the collegiate level or as a head coach at the high school level required; head collegiate coaching experience preferred; demonstrated knowledge of NAIA and GCAC rules and a commitment to the academic development of studentathletes required. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff faculty students parents and alumni from diverse ethnic cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.
