The Illinois Department of Natural Resources is seeking to hire a Site Technician II at Big River State Forest for The Office of Land Management. This position will perform routine grounds maintenance and janitorial duties including plowing snow plumbing repairs HVAC maintenance use and maintenance of a variety of power tools and testing equipment. Big River State Forest in western Illinois Henderson County is 8 miles north of Oquawka on the OquawkaKeithsburg blacktop. The forest is managed primarily to demonstrate sound forestry practices with demonstrations and talks on these practices available to interested welcome all interested candidates to apply.

The Historic Sites Division of the Office of Land Management oversees 57 Historic Sites Monuments and Memorials. OLM facilitates activities from small group interpretive programming at Historical Sites to hiking hunting fishing boating and camping.
