Job Description

Student Worker Residential Life Furniture Mover (Temporary)

Number of Openings: 6

Purpose/Objective of the Role:

  • Residential Life has a lot of furniture in its residential communities. We are looking for assistance in moving furniture around our residential communities.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

  • Dispose of old mattresses
  • Move furniture from one location to another
  • Assist with the unloading and placing of new mattresses

Qualifications:

  • Students who fill this position will be required to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Work will occur on June 2 and June 4 with the possibility of also working June 3 if it is needed.
  • Students who fill this role will need to be available between 8:30am5:00pm on June 2 and June 4.
  • Lunch will be provided on these two days and the position pays $15/hr.

Potential Future Career Benefit:

  • Development of communication skills experience working on a team.

NOTE:

  • Employment sponsorship is not available for this position. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
