Job Description

Description

We are looking for anInsurance and Authorization Coordinator who can ensure billing can process a clean claim. Responsibilities include entering all insurance data into CareVoyant software verifying benefit coverage is active for new and existing patients obtaining a prior authorization for services reauthorizing clinical visits/hours as needed and processing insurance denials that are received upon prior authorization submissions.
Schedule
  • MondayFriday general business hours
  • Hybrid schedule offered 2 days onsite 3 days work from home
Wage
  • $19$20/hour
Benefits

This role is fulltime and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance paid time off and a 403B retirement account.

What Youll Do

Verify active insurance coverage for every patient in outpatient services before scheduling can occur and follow up with families when active coverage isnt available.
Fill out necessary verification paperwork accurately and in a timely manner in order to maintain scheduling service level.
Obtain and send all necessary clinical documentation to insurance companies in order to receive a prior authorization/precertification of services as needed.
Track and monitor patients that will require a reauthorization for additional therapy treatment sessions.
Assist with annual insurance update process.
Complete other duties as assigned.

What Youll Need

High School Degree or GED equivalent
Experience working with medical insurance preferred
Ability to work accurately and efficiently with frequent interruptions while meeting timebound requests.
Ability to communicate effectively in reading writing and speaking the English language.
