Job Description
Designer(Shop Drawings and Fabrication drawings) The designer should be capable of creating solutions as per project requirements and site conditions. He/She should be able to propose different solutions for further approval. Should have a good understanding of the functionality of the faade elements. Should have a good understanding of water and air barriers in the facade
Key Individual Accountabilities
Strategic
- Ownership of particular sketches details and drawings
- Study / Understand project technical specifications/ architectural and structural drawings
- Work planning for own work
- Timely submission of system drawings and shop drawings
- Optimized designs as per project requirement
- Creation of proper BOM for a project
- Understand clients requirement
- Meet the delivery deadlines of design work
- Information flow
- Align organizational need and team & individual growth
- Training
Internal :
- Sales Manufacturing Service/Installation Purchase Estimation
Facade client Facade Consultants
Technical:
- Education BE/ in Mechanical or Civil engineering / Arch.
- Experience Minimum 3 years experience in Faade design.
- Understanding of basic principles of Faade.
- Understanding of water and air barrier in faade system.
- Handle bespoke designs of faade systems and related products like Canopy Skylights railings Cladding systems etc.
- Material properties of different alloys of Aluminium & Steel
- AutoCad 2D & 3D
- Understanding the sequence of installation.
Good to have
- Knowledge of handson experience of 3D design software like Autocad 3D Inventor 3D Max
Key Performance Indicators:
- Delivery timeline adherence (System /Shop drawings)
- Design/Shop drawings submission with optional sketches
- Developing details following the project spec and intent
