Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager Business Insights
We are seeking a Senior Insights Consultant with deep expertise in Point of Sale (POS) and Consumer Panel data to drive thought leadership initiatives and provide strategic insights for our client.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in market research secondary research and data storytelling with experience at leading research agencies like Nielsen IPSOS Kantar GfK or similar organizations.
In this role you will be responsible for leveraging syndicated data sources conducting secondary research and crafting compelling category insights that influence business decisions. You will play a key role in identifying trends shaping our market perspective and producing impactful content that positions our brand as an industry thought leader
Responsibilities
Thought Leadership & Category Insights
Develop insightful reports whitepapers and presentations that highlight key market trends shopper behaviors and category dynamics.
Synthesize data from POS Consumer Panel and secondary research to create a strategic point of view on the category.
Work crossfunctionally to deliver insights that drive business strategy innovation and commercial growth.
Data Analysis & Research
Analyze syndicated retail and consumer data (Nielsen IRI Kantar GfK etc.) to uncover trends competitive dynamics and growth opportunities.
Conduct secondary research from industry reports trade publications and market intelligence sources to enrich insights.
Identify and communicate macro and micro trends influencing the category.
Storytelling & Reporting
Translate complex data into clear actionable insights for internal stakeholders and external thought leadership content.
Create compelling presentations and reports that showcase key findings in a visually engaging and businessrelevant format.
Develop benchmarking studies shopper behaviour reports and competitive landscape analyses
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
B.E & MBA MBA BCA MCA BSc/MSc
Good knowledge of CPG/FMCG
Relevant years of experience working in market research agencies
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
At least some years of professional experience working in the field of business insights/CPG domain
Experience working in market research agencies (Nielsen IPSOS Kantar GfK etc.) or clientside insights roles
Proficiency in Excel PowerPoint and other data visualizations platforms
Strong business acumen curiosity and the ability to connect insights to strategic decisions
