As The Observatory School grows and expands we are adding to a team which has high expectations and sets high standards for both pupils and colleagues.
The school are looking to appoint a remarkable Art Teacher who will be based at the schools Bidston Campus teaching Key Stage 3 and 4 who can pick up from the previous successful teacher and form a part of the Creative Curriculum Team.
Art is a subject that produces some of the best results in the school. The pupils enjoy art and not only does it enhance the pupils skills and creativity it provides some children with a therapeutic outlet for their social and emotional wellbeing.
You will play a key part in the school journey and will be supported by an exceptional team of Assistant Headteachers Heads of School Executive Headteacher and Governors.
Your knowledge skills and experience are important but so will be your emotional intelligence and resilience. Expectations will be high challenges you have never faced before will come from all directions and the expectation will be on you to meet them in line with the vision of school.

Closing date for the vacancy is 29th May 2025 with commencement date of 1st September 2025 although this is negotiable.
