RESEARCH INSTITUTE OF THE MUHC
The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RIMUHC) is a worldrenowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. The RIMUHC is supported in part by the Fonds de recherche du Qubec Sant (FRQS).
General Duties
Responsible for administrative functions such as photocopying printing faxing courier services creates and maintains filing system
Prepare physical documents for scanning by organizing removing staples and ensuring they are ready for processing
Operate scanning equipment to digitize documents efficiently and accurately
Perform routine checks to ensure all files are scanned and stored correctly
Identify and resolve any errors or discrepancies in scanned files
Handle sensitive documents with discretion and ensure adherence to data protection and confidentiality standards
This summer job is offered as part of the Canada Summer Jobs program
Bilingual French and English (spoken and written)
Detailoriented autonomous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision.
Status : FullTime Temporary (8week position)
Pay Scale: $20.00 to $26.36$/hour. Commensurate with education.
Work Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm.
Work Site:2155 Guy Street
Eligibility criteria the Canada Summer Jobs program :
be between 15 and 30 years of age at the beginning of the employment period
be a Canadian citizen permanent resident or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
have a valid SIN at the start of the employment.
