Embryologist

City Fertility is looking for an experienced and dedicated Embryologist to join our welcoming team at the Sydney CBD Gateway Clinic.

Established in 2003 City Fertility is one of Australias leading IVF and fertility groups with 12 IVF clinics 70 consulting rooms and 60fertility specialists nationwide.

As an embryologist your role will be to support the laboratory supervisor in the labs daytoday operations productivity and efficiency.

City Fertility is seeking a dedicated Embryologist to join our Laboratory team. This position may include weekend and public holiday coverage based on an oncall roster system.

About you:

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or higher qualification
• Member of Scientists in Reproductive Technology (SIRT)
• Minimum 35 years experience in a clinical IVF laboratory
• Drivers Licence and willingness to work at other locations as and when required

Required Skills and Competencies

• Semen preparation analysis (includes Abs/DNA fragmentation) and freezing (IUI IVF/ICSI TESA/PESA).
• Embryo transfer (uterine or tubal)
• ICSI and standard inseminations
• Embryo cryopreservation vitrification assisted hatching and thawing
• Embryo biopsy and cell tube transfer
