Job Description

This position is 100% onsite and no remote or hybrid option is available at this time.

Prioritize and schedule jobs based on an analysis of critical requirements cell throughput bottlenecks and proactive assessment of additional workloads.

Analyze the existing material workflow including releasing reserves picking delivering and releasing Material Transfer Requisitions to identify opportunities for workflow improvement.

Perform analytical and reporting exercises including time and motion studies or as required by the supervisors in the Cell.

Monitor Kanban levels and create production and withdrawal cards to maintain availability and storage accuracy; release work orders accordingly.

Oversee the flow of components and raw materials through various manufacturing cells; issue parts and plans based on pulls or planned orders.

Assist in the overall flow of production and materials for assigned cell; facilitate communication between the production floor purchasing and engineering team supporting the cell.

Identify supply chain issues impacting Cell performance and drive action to restore schedule.

Identify process improvements for hardware cycle counts including bulk materials as well as enhancements for material storage such as implementing protective packaging for parts.

Maintain the process at the cutoff work center to issue tube and bar stock orders at the time of use.

Maintain streamlined process for displaying schedule priorities throughout the Tube processing manufacturing Cell.

Assist in optimizing production staging areas.

Continuous analysis of shipments to consolidate loads and optimize cost savings.

Training staff in relevant processes including process updates.

Ensure that other parties perform IPR and QPR and correct bill of material problems.

Review inventory and demand to establish the effectiveness of part number changes for ECROs. (BOM Demand & Inventory analysis skills).

Conduct analysis in support of ECR/ED activity identifies incorporation points of changes. Submits analysis to program supervisor for approval.

MF 40 hrs./wk. 8:00 am 5:00 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related field and 2 years of experience in production for aerospace manufacturing for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods; 2 years of experience reviewing raw materials demand (aluminum Inconel Nitronic and Stainless Steel) for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods; 2 years of experience pulling reports such as: Open Jobs Master Scheduled Hours Orders with Unissued Parts Planned Orders Product Shortages and Discrepancy Reports for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods; 2 years of experience validating inventory counts in ERP system and making adjustments as required; 2 years of experience conducting yearend inventory audits; 2 years of experience reconciling physical inventories with quantities in the ERP systemand2 years of experience as a SAP power user and trainer.
