Who were looking for
The Toyota Financial Services Technology Operations Center is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Cloud Services Engineer.
Reporting to the Manager of TOC Engineering the individual in this role will play a pivotal role in the governance maintenance and enhancement of support for our AWS Cloud Services. The AWS Cloud Services Engineer will collaborate with the Cloud Engineering team to ensure the seamless transition of services to the Cloud Services Team. Furthermore the engineer will work closely with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve issues within the production environment
What youll be doing
- Provide expertlevel support for Cloud services addressing technical issues
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Cloud infrastructure and services ensuring minimal downtime and disruption
- Collaborate with the Major Incident Management team to address and resolve critical issues in the production environment
- Participate in incident response activities including root cause analysis and postincident reviews
- Work closely with the Cloud platform team to ensure the successful transition of services to the Cloud Services Team
- Monitor the performance and health of cloud resources using tools such as CloudWatch and Dynatrace
- Develop automation scripts using tools like CloudFormation Terraform and CLI to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of support processes incident resolutions and cloud configurations
- Stay updated on the latest cloud services features and best practices.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve support processes and cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate on designing scalable architectures implementing CI/CD pipelines and troubleshooting application issues
- Manage cloud routing and troubleshoot network issues
- Monitor system health perform regular maintenance and respond to incidents.
What you bring
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Bachelors degree in information technology or related field. Proven relevant work experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience in Cloud services such as EC2 S3 RDS Lambda VPC Route 53 CloudWAN Kubernetes Redshift
- Experience with infrastructureascode tools like CloudFormation Terraform and Ansible
- Proven experience in Infrastructure services such as Unix Linux and Windows troubleshooting
- Knowledge of cloud security is the best practice and tools.
- Understanding of network architecture and protocols within AWS
- Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes.
- Proficiency in scripting skills (e.g. Python Bash or PowerShell).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- ITIL Foundation framework
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
- Knowledge of integration of tools and technologies like Dockers Elasticsearch Logstash Kibana
