787 Wire Design & Installation Engineer (Associate Experienced or Senior)

Boeing South Carolina (BSC) is looking for a 787 Wire Design & Installation Engineer (Associate Experienced or Senior) with certification experience to join our team in North Charleston South Carolina.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of all phases of the design process ensuring highquality outcomes at each stage.

  • Develop and maintain organized schedules to effectively manage design timelines and deliverables.

  • Work closely with the Electrical Design team to integrate electrical components seamlessly into overall design projects.

  • Liaise with external organizations throughout the program to ensure alignment and collaboration on design initiatives.

  • Apply knowledge of certification requirements to ensure that designs meet industry standards and regulatory compliance.

  • Add appropriate regulations and means of compliance (as well as MOC discussion) with guidance from EUM.

  • Add functional hazard/system safety statement for each systemsubsystem in the cert plan

  • Create delegation discussion for each systemsubsystem in the cert plan Create deliverables that will be used in the showing of compliance which include appropriate regulations means of compliance and deliverable discussion

  • Develop schedule for CP submittal deliverables tests and project closure

Work Authorization:

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at North Charleston SC.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology) chemistry physics mathematics data science or computer science.

  • 2 years of experience with wire design/wire harness installation and/or equipment installation.

  • 2 years of experience with FAA and EASA regulations/certification

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience working in the aerospace industry

  • Knowledge of FAA and EASA regulations

  • Experience in ModelBased Definition (CATIA V5 or higher Solidworks Siemens NX) ENOVIA and PDM

  • Experience using all the Microsoft Office Applications (Word Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Ability to quickly adapt to program tools and procedures

Summary Pay Range:

  • Associate (level 2): $81600 $110400

  • Experienced (level 3): $97750 $132250

  • Senior (level 4): $119850 $162150

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

Export Control Requirement:

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. U.S. Person includes U.S. Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
