The Role:
The Senior Clinical Project Manager leads and manages a more complex clinical studies demonstrating a higher level of knowledge of clinical operations methodologies stronger organizational project management and leadership capabilities as well as increase strategic insight decisiveness and strong judgement
What Youll Do:
- Ensures successful clinical trial planning execution and delivery within specified quality time and cost parameters
- Ensure alignment of clinical project goals with Clinical Operations program objectives and seeks to create greater value at the CFT level through optimal leveraging of budgets timelines and resources.
- Evaluates current methodologies and questions whether there are more efficient or effective approaches to clinical studies
- May manage several clinical trials through leading and delegating to a CFT working under the guidance and direction of the Director Clinical Operations
- Leads matrix multidisciplinary crossfunctional study teams and ensures collaboration across functional areas
- Provides guidance oversight of and is an advocate for the CFT proactively identifies negotiates and brokers solutions to clinical study issues and challenges
- Delegates to support staff to ensure clinical studies at a project level are executed within specified time quality and cost parameters
- Leads negotiations/interactions with external partnerships (e.g. CRO) to ensure partners are effectively supporting clinical trials within contracted terms
- Ensure that clinical trials are feasible engages CFT to address concerns/issues relating to patient enrollment site selection data collection
- Demonstrates excitement around the Vison and Mission of Deciphera and the department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
What Youll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in health science or related field
- Minimum of 8 years in clinical research with management of complex clinical trials
- Demonstrates extensive experience and expertise in managing highvolume/complex clinical studies
- Proactively and independently manages vendors including identification and mitigation of risk
- Demonstrates understanding of complexities of decisionmakers and stakeholders
- Demonstrates ability to lead multi functional team
- As of result of being a member and leader of CFT develops comprehensive understanding of different internal and external departments and functions within Deciphera and independencies of the functions and vendors
Very strong verbal written and presentation skills are required
Additional Information :
Deciphera is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $139000.00 $191000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors including but not limited to depth of experience education skillset overall performance and/or location.
