Number of Beds : 16 Patient Ratios :1 RN to 2 Patients Unit staffing description (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Type of equipment :Alaris Pumps GE monitors Documentation system:Meditech Scheduling requirements:36 hrs/wk. 312 hr shifts Floating policy: yes Patient Experience requirements:Hospital Specifics Certifications: BLS ACLS NIHAdvanced skills needed: Advanced hemodynamic understanding Ventilator management vasoactive titrating drip knowledge insulin drips code cool management ICP monitoring/EVD management Procedures performed on unit: Intubation EGD Tracheostomy PEG placement Central line placement
