Job Description
Job Title: LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST
Rate of Pay: Commission plus gratuities (27%)
Shift: PartTime Year Round Position; Variable Shifts
Weekends holidays and special events are required based on business needs
Treatment Providers must report to work 30 minutes prior to first appointment.
On Call: Be sure to confirm your schedule before the start of your shift. When you are on the schedule but have no appointments you are classified as actively on call. When an appointment is booked you will be notified by the Spa. Your response time to arrive at the Spa should be one hour or less.

SUMMARY
Support and promote the image service and standards of Sundance and the spa. Perform all massage and body treatments in a clean safe and relaxing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet /welcome /check guests in and out warmly and with a smile exhibiting customer service excellence.
- Guide the guests through their entire journey.
- Fulfill any reasonable requests of the guests and management.
- Ensure guest satisfaction and comfort throughout the entire spa journey.
- Attend all educational events and meetings sponsored by the spa and Sundance.
- Communicate with management and other team members regarding guest or service concerns.
- Punctual and consistent attendance and performance of job duties.
- Maintain proper start/stop times for treatments per protocols.
- Set the ambiance for relaxation.
- Perform foot soaks
- Perform all massage and body treatment therapies as prescribed by the spa protocols.
- Must be knowledgeable of a variety of massage modalities.
- Learn and perform all spa body treatments.
- Promote body care products to all guests.
- Understand all professional body care products and their proper usage.
- Be a resource to guests on body therapy and product home care recommendations.
- Restock and refill products and supplies in the treatment rooms and dispensary.
- Assist other team members in keeping the dispensary clean and organized.
- Maintain and clean treatment rooms equipment and dishes.
- Keep linen storage clean and organized.
- Move and lift containers of liquid a set of heated stones that weighs between 510 lbs. and bags of linen.
QUALIFICATIONS
- To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required. - Associates degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a twoyear college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy Utah Licensing and National Certification required. Two years of spa experience as a licensed technician required.
- Certified Graduate from an Accredited School of Massage Therapy.
- Must be licensed by the State of Utah and Nationally Certified.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk talk hear sit reach kneel crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
