Job Description
York Middle School is a dynamic studentcentered learning community and we are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to join our team for a middle level Spanish Teacher position. This 7th/8th Grade teacher will be responsible for teaching Spanish on a collaborative team with another Spanish and a French teacher in addition to limited exploratory classes with 6th grade students.. The ideal candidate will be good humored with a passion for high quality world language teaching and learning. An ability to potentially teach French is preferred dependent on student language Middle Level certification with Spanish (440) endorsement (or ability for conditional certification). Preference will be given to candidates who also hold French (420) endorsement (or ability for conditional certification).Experience in a proficiencybased learning environment (preferred).Desire to collaborate with other educators to support students in a middle school environment.
