We are hiring:Case Manager Passages Assessment Sanction and Revocation Unit (ASRC)

Starting Wage

  • Salary: $20.00$25.00/hour depending upon experience and educational attainment.

Job Type

  • FullTime NonExempt

Schedule

  • Standard Hours: SundayThursday 8am4pm; flexible within reason.

Training

  • Orientation: Alternatives provides thorough orientation and training for all new staff. You can expect a oneweek orientation where you will learn all about Alternatives and be prepared for your role. This first week is scheduled from 9 AM to 5 PM at our Alternatives Training Center.

To be successful in this role you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in human services or a related field. Alternatively at least 5 years of experience in corrections case management or a similar field may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Ability to relate to residents in a firm yet empathetic manner.
  • Computer and wordprocessing skills with demonstrated experience in documentation and record keeping.
  • Valid state drivers license.
  • Ability to pass federal drug screening requirements and a background check.

You will be joining a dedicated group of case managers and collaborating closely with other onsite teams to provide exceptional resident care and ensure effective communication of needs.

What Will You Do in This Position

As a Case Manager youll play a crucial role in preparing residents for their successful reentry into the community. Youll provide support and guidance ensuring that their criminogenic risks needs and responsivity are addressed through individualized program plans. From conducting initial risk assessments and developing rapport with residents to providing thorough program orientations and ensuring compliance your role is dynamic and impactful. Youll assist residents in creating effective release plans conduct random room visits and perform weekly medication audits. Accurate documentation and active participation in quality assurance and training activities are also key aspects of your job. Additionally youll use cognitive behavioral tools to deliver evidencebased interventions reinforce positive behavior and model prosocial behavior. Reporting significant developments to your supervisors promptly is essential to maintaining the integrity and effectiveness of the program.

PTO

  • Accrual: Start accruing PTO from your first paycheck. Fulltime (40hour) employees with 02 years of employment accrue 4.65 hours per pay period totaling 15 days a year.
  • Increased Accrual with Tenure: Accrual rates increase at 3 years 5 years and every subsequent 5year mark up to 25 years.
  • Pro Rata Basis: Accrual rates for employees working 2030 hours per week are on a pro rata basis.

Paid Holidays

  • FullTime Employees: Enjoy 11 paid holidays.
  • PartTime Employees: Employees working 2030 hours per week also receive paid holidays on a pro rata basis.
