The Opportunity
The Advancement team has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and strategic fundraising professional to step into the role of Senior Development Manager HASS. In this key position you will lead efforts to secure major and principal gifts of $100k $1m while building deep productive relationships across the Humanities Arts and Social Sciences faculties. This is your chance to help shape the next chapter of Monashs philanthropic impact from within our dynamic university community.
This position will be responsible for developing and executing a highimpact fundraising strategy aligned with university and faculty goals managing a portfolio of 60100 prospects with a focus on securing major gifts. Youll lead efforts to strengthen stakeholder engagement provide expert guidance to faculty executives and oversee key fundraising projects that inform strategic decisionmaking and business growth. Youll also provide strategic leadership and mentoring to the Development Manager HASS while working closely with Deans senior faculty members alumni and Advancement teams to build meaningful donor relationships and champion philanthropic success across the university.
To be successful in this role you will have a proven track record of major gift fundraising within complex organisations and a talent for building trusted highvalue relationships. Your strategic mindset combined with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills will enable you to design and deliver effective campaigns that inspire lasting support. Strong leadership capability along with experience in driving datainformed decisions will ensure you thrive in this fastpaced and collaborative environment.
