Roles and Responsibilities:
Serve as the sites focal point for Quality with customers headquarters suppliers and regulators/auditors while partnering with the Site Manager
Conduct recruitment selection development and promotion of the Quality team
Establish and execute strategic roadmap for process capability and inspection technology
Utilize FLIGHT DECK to drive APPS (At Point Problem Solving) to reduce rework/TAT and increase flow
Drive a robust Root cause corrective action process to assure product compliance to specifications
Coordinate design project and system engineers during detailed design startup and warranty administration phases of project
Drive a culture of Safety Quality Delivery Cost (SQDC) in that order
Partner with crossfunctional leadership to assess the operations needs and develop new solutions based upon precedents in the organizations
Work on cross functional teams to cater to the Quality priorities
Build solid relationships with key customers and suppliers and ensure customer requirements are evaluated documented and flowed down properly and products are validated
Present product / program strategies technical roadmaps risks and recommendations to senior leaders (EB ) across GE
Support team development utilizing Quality Excellence Program (QEP)
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university and 5 years of Production Quality experience or related Manufacturing or Engineering field (or a minimum high school diploma / GED with an additional 4 years of Production Quality experience or related Manufacturing or Engineering field).
Desired Characteristics:
People leadership experience desired.
AS9100 or similar Quality management system awareness
FAR145 Training
Flight Deck or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
Ability to lead and influence peers
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects
Ability to document plan market and execute programs
Established project management skills
Quality System working knowledge and / or Certification.
