Reporting to the Medical Head the US Oncology Medical Affairs Group Medical Lead plays a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities and strategy to make a positive impact on changing patients lives. Join us at our dynamic site in the greater DC Metro area in Gaithersburg MD!
What Youll Do:
Lead a team of Medical professionals to cultivate an environment of inclusion shared goals clear responsibilities and continuous improvement
Independently develop the iMAP and respective financial requirements to implement individual asset or tumour area plans within a specific disease area
Support in the development and execution of the Medical Plan for Launch Readiness Reviews
Develop the asset and/or indication strategy and ensure the delivery
Collaborate with HEOR to deliver Real World Evidence Projects across asset and tumour areas
Provide training to enhance Field Medical team scientific skill in collaboration with Global Medical
Represent the CMT recommended evidence to communicate to GMA and defining the ESE priorities for engagement at a congress level
Complete quarterly reviews at the Core Medical Team & the Franchise Head iMAP reviews
Support the Medical Lead in Promotional Materials Review Team to independently review assets & other content input
Independently review ES budgets concept & protocol
Lead the Advisory Board Strategy planning and execution
Minimum Qualifications:
Sophisticated Scientific Degree (MBBS PharmD PhD or MD) orinternational equivalent
7 years of Oncology experience including a minimum of 3 years in an HQ Medical Affairs role
Ability to manage endtoend Medical Affairs accountabilities for multiple indications within a disease area
Effective matrix leadership experience and partner management
Experience in evidencegeneration planning and clinical trial design
Excellent communication and financial budget management
Preferred Qualifications:
Doctorate degree (MD PharmD or PhD) with specific Oncology Lung focus
Extensive knowledge of the latest technical regulatory policy and patientcentric developments
Board Certification in Oncology
Product Launch Experience and FDA requirements
Experience working in US market

The annual base pay for this position ranges from $240213 to $360319 Hourly and salaried nonexempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including market location jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. In addition our positions offer a shortterm incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equitybased longterm incentive program (salaried roles) to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles) and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program 401(k) plan; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and health benefits including medical prescription drug dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
