Role: Group Reporting Manager

Location: London England United Kingdom (2 days a week from our London HQ)

About the role:

the Group Reporting Manager will be responsible for the preparation of Group reporting including group consolidation and parent company reporting.

What you will be doing:

Management of Group consolidation

  • Preparation of the group consolidation for 60 business units for monthly and annual reporting
  • Posting of intercompany elimination journals for weekly rolling forecast
  • Preparation of all intercompany eliminations and reconciliations as part of the Group consolidation process
  • Prepare of all additional consolidation schedules including maintenance of FCTR workings NCI calculations group amortisation schedules equity accounting for associates and joint arrangements
  • Support the intercompany accountant to monitor the intercompany process for P&L and BS across the group

Parent Company Reporting

  • Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly/ quarterly/ annual financial reporting information required by parent company in coordination with Group finance team including profit and loss Balance sheet Headcount and Client reporting
  • Responsible for reconciliations between internal and parent company reporting
  • Responsible for maintaining and improving automated reports for submission to parent

Other responsibilities

  • Assist Group Finance team on reviews of monthly balance reconciliation sheets for group entities identifying areas of weakness and process improvement
  • Assist Group Finance team on other accounting and finance processes (including but not limited to bank reporting business reporting budgeting and forecasting) as required
  • Support Senior Group Finance Manage and wider group finance team on accounting and finance projects
  • You will be open and willing to attend sustainability training relevant to your role and soak up recommended research and reading about sustainability issues

What you need to be great in this role:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
  • Consolidation experience
  • Highly computer literate - Advanced Excel skills; comfortable dealing with complex Formulae.
  • Adaptable to change in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage senior finance members.
  • High attention to detail.
  • You can be the change - you prioritise environmental responsibility social equity and economic viability and how that translates into your day-to-day role
