Position Summary The Safety Coordinator position will research and coordinate providing support in the implementation and management of the companys compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and all related processing of the injury reports claims/report as well as work comp insurance coverage billing coding and reconciliation. Note: This is a third shift position. Position Responsibilities - Maintain employee digital files through coordination with appropriate stakeholders.
- Complete First Report for injuries and property damage. Track claims and coordinate with work comp insurance. Notify insurance of employee work status. Maintain OSHA 300 log.
- Coordinates with other departments to limit risk of injury claim(s).
- Assigns training per approved plan in the LMS system.
- Manage Safety qualification data via customer/third party vendor portals.
- Work to build the rapport with employees and provide courteous and friendly customer service.
- Assist with the daytoday digital record management for both HR and Safety.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 13 years experience supporting EHS or HR Departments.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a workauthorized visa.
- Successful candidate will need to satisfactorily complete preemployment drug screen and background check
