Accurately mix and serve beverages to guests in a friendly and efficient manner. |
Job Responsibilities: Maximum of ten responsibilities in order of percentage of time spent on functions from longest to shortest; do not list anything that does not represent at least 10% of the jobs time. Please include supervisory responsibilities. |
1. | Greet guests take beverage orders from outlet service staff or directly from guests. |
2. | Mix drinks cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards. |
3. | Check identification of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. |
4. | Handle an assigned house bank and follow all cash handling procedures. |
5. | Collect payment for drinks served and balance cash receipts. |
6. | Ensure that the assigned bar area is fully equipped with tools and products needed for mixing beverages and serving guests. |
7. | Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate. |
8. | Clean bar assigned work area and area tables as needed. |
9. | Assist with training and ensure that new employees are fully oriented to proper procedures and policies. |
| Demonstrate thorough knowledge of food and beverage products menus and promotions. |
10. | Perform other duties as assigned. |
Job Qualifications: Describe the minimum qualifications needed to complete the job responsibilities. |
Education | High school diploma or equivalent preferred. |
Experience | Minimum one year bartending experience in a high volume operation preferred. Good communication skills required. |
Licenses/Certifications | Food Handlers Card and Alcoholic Beverage Commission Card (ABC card) may be required. |

The starting pay for this position is $17.33 per hour the 6 month pay for this position is $19.64 per hour and the one year pay for this position is $23.11 per hour. The position offers health care benefits earned paid time off and/or sick leave life insurance disability coverage and other life and work wellness benefits. Benefits may be subject to generally applicable eligibility waiting period contribution and other requirements and conditions.
