PostBaccalaureate Fellow in Advising & Academic Success
Hendrix College is seeking a fulltime 10month support staff position. Reporting to the Associate Provost for Advising & Academic Success this employee will assist with studentfocused outreach and initiatives support the residential experience of Hendrix students and serve a vital role as an afterhours oncall resource for students. On campus residency is required; housing and a meal plan are provided. Primary responsibilities for this highly visible and collaborative position include:- Partnering with personnel in the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Student Affairs to help create and implement studentfocused programming that promotes belonging and student success.
- Assisting with the planning and implementation of the Majors Fair the Summer Bridge Program and other campus events.
- Contributing to the creation implementation and assessment of presentations and workshops pertaining to the services provided by the Office of Advising & Academic Success and the Office of Diversity & Inclusion
- Aiding in the collection and organization of student data in and between multiple systems.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND Education: Bachelors degree required. Experience: Previous work designing and implementing programming for students is required; assessment of that programming for students is preferred. Skills: Excellent communication interpersonal and organizational skills; professional and friendly; selfmotivated team player; ability to manage multifaceted projects; experience with spreadsheets and Microsoft 365 products; respectful of student privacy and confidential information.
