The Business Operations Coordinator supports HOM Inc.s business operations function and contributes to the organizations overall effectiveness. This position is responsible for supporting business operations strategic initiatives the optimization of organizational effectiveness streamlining business workflows and fostering collaboration across departments in alignment with HOMs evolving business operating model.


The Business Operations Coordinator assists in executing daily operational tasks tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) and supporting project management initiatives. This role also focuses on continuous process improvement and proactive problemsolving to enhance organizational effectiveness. The coordinator serves as a liaison between teams ensuring alignment in project timelines resource allocation and strategic priorities as directed.


This position requires a strategic and detailoriented professional with a servant leadership mindsetone who is committed to enabling organizational success through operational excellence effective communication a collaborative approach and a focus on continuous learning and process improvement to ensure that operational business processes evolve with organizational needs.


Primary Job Responsibilities


Operational Support & Process Optimization

  • Support the development and implementation of best practices for HOMs business operating model ensuring compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Facilitate transparent and efficient collaboration across departments ensuring alignment with company priorities.
  • Assist in optimizing workflows and removing operational bottlenecks.
  • Track and report on key operational metrics to drive informed decisionmaking.
  • Support leadership in process improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead the development documentation and maintenance of Business Operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency efficiency and compliance across the organization.
  • Collaborate with management in the administration and management of the Helpjuice knowledge base software ensuring accurate uptodate and accessible organizational knowledge.

Communication and Engagement

  • Develop Business Operations presentation decks for internal and external audiences.
  • Support the design planning and implementation of HOMs internal communications strategies.
  • Create and publish the monthly employee newsletter to keep staff informed and engaged.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating internal engagement platforms including Pingboard and Recognize.
  • Coordinate and execute the Quarterly Town Hall to support organizational transparency and engagement.
  • Support HOMs Culture Committee in planning and executing teambuilding events.
  • Support the facilitation of ongoing feedback loops with staff and leadership to assess operational pain points and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Support the development and design of branded materials ensuring consistency with HOMs visual identity and messaging.

Administrative

  • Support the planning and execution of organizational events including staff celebrations.
  • Coordinate the ordering of marketing materials swag award plaques and other branded items as needed.
  • Maintain accurate document storage and version control to ensure consistency and accessibility.
  • Proofread edit and revise internal and external communications for clarity and consistency.
Requirements

Essential Skills

  • Commitment to a servant leadership approach prioritizing the success and efficiency of team members and departments.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data to provide recommendations that enhance operational decisionmaking.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook) and business communication tools.
  • Experience with design and communication software such as Canva or Adobe Pro.
  • Proficiency in Helpjuice or similar knowledge management platforms for organizing and maintaining company documentation.
  • Strong facilitation skills to lead crossfunctional meetings and drive operational alignment.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on fostering collaboration.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of tasks and deliver highquality outcomes.
  • Problemsolving mindset with the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team maintaining flexibility in a dynamic environment.
  • Strategic and tactical thinking to drive operational improvements.


Other Skills and Requirements

  • Access to and responsibility for handling sensitive information (PII/PHI) in compliance with HOMs Security and Privacy Policies.
  • Adherence to HOM Inc.s Competency Model which includes Emotional Intelligence Expertise Ethics and Excellence.
  • Willingness to perform additional duties as needed or assigned.


Education and Training

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of advanced experience supporting Business Operations at an organizational level.
  • Experience in copywriting and editing (AP style preferred).
  • Experience with web design or WordPress is a plus.
  • Proficiency in photo and video editing software (e.g. Snagit Camtasia) is a plus.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms (MailChimp Constant Contact) is a plus.
