Were currently searching for a Managing Director to join our Residential Wellbeing team in Blacksburg VA to help us in our mission. So if youre a team player who is passionate about creating a welcoming engaging and holistic experience for residential students please keep reading.
HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE:
1) Youll be joining the Residential Wellbeing team; a department centered on creating intentional residential communities that are characterized by belonging flourishing compassion for self and others and meaningful engagement.
2) Youll be reporting to the Director of Residential Wellbeing in a Regular twelvemonth 100% administrative professional appointment.
3) Youll be responsible for convening a multidisciplinary team of talented colleagues from across Student Affairs to cultivate a synergistic approach to student wellbeing and success. This includes a Coordinator for ExperienceVT a Coordinator for Wellbeing a Coordinator for Belonging & Community Wellbeing and a Case Manager for Residential Wellbeing.
4) Youll have the chance to grow and take advantage of a developmental plan with opportunities to advance within the Department and the Division.
5) Youll be offered a base compensation package between $67000 $74000 along with a comprehensive benefits package which includes health insurance paid leave retirement tuition assistance VT discounts and so much more!

These changes may sound small but they underscore philosophical transformation at the heart of Residential Wellbeing.
Required Qualifications
Mastersdegree in a related field is required including higher education or areas related to wellbeing etc.
Experience in and an understanding of the developmental needs of students.
Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
Ability to take initiative in a dynamic fast paced environment.
Ability to develop strong faculty and professional partnerships and engagement; mentor and supervise professional staff and numerous levels of student leadership; and lead through influence.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with strategic planning; program development; and peer advising or peermentorship initiatives.
Experience collaborating to support specific student populations including students who are militaryaffiliated or engaged with service branches students in fraternity or sorority living or students in various living learning programs.
