THE ROLE
Using discretion and judgment works with internal teams to develop implement and analyze financial information to optimize effectiveness and accuracy as support for the team. Provides analysis performance measurements to ensure industry competitiveness.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Assist in the development implementation and maintenance of global sales commissions or pricing guidelines. Work collaboratively across departments including Distribution Finance Legal/Compliance and Human Resources to provide market competitiveness and reporting requirements and/or competitive and consistent fee proposals with client fees transparency challenges and internal pricing guidelines.
- Assist with the update of monthly/quarterly management reports analytics and insights or analysis on business analytics projects and initiatives. Share results with business stakeholders.
- Conduct robust analysis on standard pricing and negotiated fees or work with assigned business partners on market data
- Provides assistance in the development maintenance and distribution of business analytics
- Assist with producing commission exhibits for all new commissioned employees working with HR and business unit to determine exact commission rates and guarantees as applicable.
- Work with appropriate parties to resolve oneoff fees compensation adjustments or provide explanation of necessary business analytics.
- Track and maintain relevant and necessary business analytics data.
- Assists on special projects and assume additional responsibilities as requested.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Bachelors Degree required.
- Preferred accounting or finance background.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities.
- Minimum of 56 years of industry and related experience.
- Strong interpersonal communication presentation analytical and organizational skills.
- Detailedoriented with the ability to work well under pressure manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
- Knowledge of MFS investment products and vehicles preferred but not required.
- Exceptional computer and Excel skills focusing on spreadsheet usage analysis and excel and modeling skills.
- Familiarity with appropriate systems preferred but not required potentially including Salesforce Tableau MicroStrategy and external fee data tools.
