Job Description
The Associate Director of Regional Recruitment will be based in Dallas Texas and will coordinate all recruitment activities in their recruitment area and surrounding areas. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic recruitment plan that will enhance the quality as well as the quantity of firstyear enrollments from the abovementioned areas to attend The University of Tulsa. The Associate Director of Regional Recruitment contributes to the pursuit of the universitys enrollment goals through recruitment efforts. The counselor is knowledgeable about TU programs and services and serves as a positive representative of TU at college fairs high school visits community programs interviews oncampus events offcampus events and during daily visits. The counselor identifies prospective students within the territory through travel and by personal outreach including phone text and email and through virtual and inperson meetings throughout the year. In addition to prospective students the admission counselor develops positive relationships with high school counselors parents and alumni within the territory. The admission counselor is responsible for encouraging interest in TU assisting with application generation and completion making admission decisions assisting families with the financial aid process developing relationships and working closely with high school counselors and serving as the TU point of contact for any other issues that arise during the admission process. The Associate Director of Regional Recruitment hires and supervises student workers in the Office of Admission. The Associate Director of Regional Recruitment collaborates with Directors of Recruitment to develop recruitment plans in their territory and the territories of Regional Admission Counselors. Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Establishes a strong community relations network. Plan and implement recruitment strategy for firstyear students in assigned territory. Meet regularly with directors of recruitment to monitor progress towards goals and make changes and adjustments to recruitment strategy as needed. Attend high school visits college fairs offcampus interviews and regional/school specific programming. Conceptualize organize host or participate in oncampus programming including daily visits admission event programs oneonone and group interviews and presentations. Conceptualize organize host or participate in offcampus programming receptions dinners oneonone and group interviews and presentations. With directors of recruitment and data team conduct territoryspecific data collection analysis and strategy development. Provide consistent and comprehensive outreach to prospective students families and other university constituents via email phone mail text and other online platforms. Respond promptly to prospective students parents and other university constituents requests via email phone text and other online platforms. Establish ongoing communication with high school guidance counselors. Establish a parent and alumni network. Conducts summer educational outreach programming. Conduct virtual and inperson meetings with students and families. Supervise student employees. Interview potential student employees. Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skill/Ability Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Attention to detail Must be willing to work evenings and weekends and be able to travel frequently Ability to multitask efficiently in a fastpaced environment and respond to all in a prompt manner Proficient with Microsoft Excel and familiar with Access Word PowerPoint and Outlook A collaborative team player who can coordinate work effectively with employees team members and outside stakeholders Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Demonstrated practice of establishing effective priorities and meeting deadlines Strong customer service with a cando attitude and strong interpersonal skills Equivalent Education/Experience Bachelors Degree Previous experience working in Slate Colleague ImageNow or any other Customer Relationship Manager ( CRM ) system Special Job Dimensions: Requires working with highly sensitive or confidential information. Evenings weekends and overnight travel required. Preferred Qualifications
Masters degree in higher education administration preferred Five years experience working in a university setting or admission or recruitment related experience preferred.
