The Assistant Director of Special Education supports the development implementation and monitoring of special education services across the Marysville School District with a focus on early intervention compliance and equitable student support. This position directly oversees the Child Find process for Birth to 2 manages Medicaid reimbursement efforts and provides administrative supervision of the districts Early Learning Center. Working collaboratively with building leaders special education staff families and external partners the Assistant Director helps ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and promotes inclusive studentcentered practices. The positions work location is designated as the Early Learning Center as supervision of the program and staff are a key component of this position.

The Assistant Director of Special Education will be evaluated annually by the Executive Director of Special Education in accordance with district policy and established administrative evaluation procedures.
