Job Description

Information Assurance IAVA System Security Plans (SSPs) RMF Windows Linux Authorization to Operate Verification and Validation Security Security X CASP NIST 80053
Due to federal contract requirements United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph are required for the position.

Required:

    • Must be a US Citizen.
    • Must have TS/SCI clearance w/ active polygraph (Polygraph must be within the last five (05) years).
    • At least twelve (12) years of direct/relevant experience
    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Assurance Information Security System Engineering or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
    • Four (04) years of additional relevant experience on projects with similar processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
    • Security Certification or Security X (previously known as the CASP) Certification required
    • Must have experience as ISSO working independently and/or on teams maintaining secure information system operations in isolated connected and standalone environments.
    • Must have at least five (05) years of experience using tools to support IAVA management.
    • Must have at least five (05) years of experience using tools to support the preparation maintenance and management of SSPs and other security related documentation.
    • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with several of the following: current security tools; hardware/software security implementation; communication protocols; encryption techniques/tools.
    • Indepth experience completing security evaluations of software systems or architectures to ensure they meet security requirements.
    • Indepth experience proposing coordinating implementing and enforcing information systems security policies standards and methodologies preferably on a large software or IT program.
    • Demonstrated experience performing daytoday security operations of large complicated information and information processing systems.
    • Must be committed to developing and adhering to best practices.
    • Must possess a high level of selfinitiative and must be a solutionsoriented team player.
    • Must have excellent interpersonal skills.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:

    • Extensive experience as an Information Systems Security Officer on large software development and integration programs.
$170000 $215000 a year
The pay range for this job with multilevels is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job education experience knowledge skills and abilities as well as internal equity alignment with market data applicable bargaining agreement (if any) or other law.
