Overview:
A wellestablished and growing commercial construction firm in the Fort Worth area is seeking a General Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations on highprofile commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for a seasoned leader with a strong background in complex groundup and renovation builds a commitment to quality and a passion for delivering projects safely on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide overall leadership and coordination for field operations across multiple commercial construction sites.
Collaborate closely with project managers subcontractors and clients to ensure project milestones are met.
Enforce and uphold company safety standards and jobsite protocols.
Manage and mentor field staff and trade partners to maintain quality workmanship and productivity.
Participate in preconstruction planning logistics scheduling and execution.
Conduct daily and weekly site inspections progress reviews and reports.
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays or cost overruns.
Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial construction with at least 5 years in a superintendent or senior field leadership role.
Minimum 5 years experience working in the K12 or municipal sector.
Proven experience overseeing largescale commercial projects including schools healthcare municipal buildings or mixeduse developments.
Indepth knowledge of construction methods scheduling and safety regulations.
Strong communication and leadership skills; able to manage multiple teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency with construction technology and project management tools (e.g. Procore Microsoft Project).
OSHA 30 Certification required.
