The Educational Sign Language Interpreter supports staff students and families by providing interpretation and translation services for deaf and hearingimpaired students. The interpreter also effectively facilitates communication between students who use sign language due to hearing loss and students/teachers who do not. Minimum Requirements: State Board of Education Initial Sign Language Interpreter Certificate (as applicable)Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) certificate (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) certification (as applicable per state regulation or client requirement)Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire PPD or chest xray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age MondayFriday Entire school day around 8am3pm K8 multiple sites Looking for an interpreter who is passionate about working in schools Start: August 19 Local rate: $40$43/hr (weekly pay) REQUIRED: EIPA or RID certificate
