Job Description
Are you interested in shaping the future of movies and television for Prime Video customers Do you want to define the next generation of how and what Amazon customers are watching Prime Video is one of the leading digital video streaming services on the Internet today and were just getting started.
We are seeking a talented Quality Assurance EngineerI to join our Prime Video Ads QA team. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our advertising products and services across Video On Demand (VOD) and Live Events. You will work closely with developers product managers and other stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive test strategies test cases automate testing processes and identify and resolve issues before they impact our customers.
Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for Prime Video Ads products. Automate dashboards from test results and reports. Design and implement automated testing frameworks and tools. Perform functional regression and performance testing. Identify document and track software defects. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to improve product quality and user experience. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Stay uptodate with industry trends and best practices in software testing.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium. Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality. Experience with Android iOS or any third party living room 3PLR application development or testing. Experience scripting or coding. Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements. Experience with cloudbased testing and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Knowledge of video streaming technologies and ad insertion/ingestion techniques. Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.

Review BRDs UX Design Docs EDDs
Create Test Strategies and Test Plan Documents
Internal and external reviews of QA artifacts with different stakeholders
Manual ads features and regression Testing on 1P (FireTV sticks FireOS based TVs) and 3PLR (LG Samsung Xbox. AppleTV Roku PS etc.)
Automate ads features whereas applicable
Bug triages with Product and engineering teams
Status reports
Bring innovation and new ideas to life
2 years of quality assurance engineering experience
Bachelors degree
Experience in manual testing
Experience in automation testing
Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)
Experience in API & Mobile testing
Experience designing and planning test conditions test scripts and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $75700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $183100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on jobrelated knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
