This role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the quality management system.

About the Role:
- Quality Assurance & Control Implementation:
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) for all civil mechanical and electrical works.
- Ensure that construction and installation activities comply with approved drawings specifications and standards.
- Inspection & Testing:
- Conduct and document inspections for incoming materials site workmanship equipment installation and structural elements (e.g. MMS foundations cable trenching).
- Supervise third-party and in-house testing for concrete steel welds earthing and electrical continuity.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain detailed quality records checklists and test reports.
- Prepare and submit quality-related reports non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action plans (CAPA).
- Vendor and Subcontractor Quality Monitoring:
- Review and approve material test certificates (MTC) fabrication quality reports and welding logs.
- Audit subcontractor work and ensure their adherence to quality standards.
- Coordination:
- Liaise with site engineers construction teams and client representatives for inspections and approvals.
- Support handover and commissioning processes through proper documentation and final inspections.
- Compliance and Audits:
- Conduct internal quality audits and assist in external audits.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001 ISO 14001 etc.) and project-specific quality requirements.
About You:
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical)
- Prior experience in QA/QC roles with at least 2 years in solar power plant or renewable energy projects
- Strong understanding of construction quality standards inspection procedures and testing protocols
- Familiar with solar PV system components including MMS inverters cables and earthing systems
- Proficient in preparing QA/QC documentation non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective action plans (CAPA)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 ISO 14001 and other quality management systems
- Ability to conduct internal audits vendor quality monitoring and subcontractor assessments
- Excellent analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication
- Strong reporting and documentation skills for quality records and test reports
