About this Job:In this position you will provide administrative oversight and support for the management and processing of private improvement financial assurances. You will perform the administrative management of ShortTerm Rental permit applications. In addition you will provide administrative support for the Planning Development Review division by working with developers and contractors assisting with their requests.

Work Schedule: MondayFridayProvide administrative support for processing private improvement financial assurance.
Serve as the main point of contact for developers and contractors to compile required legal and financial documents for financial assurance processing.
Review entitlement requests and coordinate with the City Attorneys Office (CAO) to process legal documentation to ensure compliance with approved entitlements prior to Building Permit issuance or Certificate of Occupancy.
Prepare track and manage legal documents related to private improvement financial assurances using internal tracking systems and spreadsheets.
Collaborate with field staff to verify that financialassurance documents reflectorsite work and conditions.
Audit and resolve discrepancies related to assurances ensuring compliance and financial accuracy.
Administer the processing and permitting of shortterm rentalpermitapplications.
Ensure compliance with city regulations related to shortterm rentals.
Supervise and monitor frontofhouse staff (23 employees) including work planning performance evaluations and workflow realignment.
Provide input on hiring training and disciplinary actions of frontofhouse staff to ensure efficient and effective program operations.
