Job Description

Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3)

The AP Systems Integration team is seeking a highly capable Business Intelligence Analyst (Level 2 or Level 3) to lead the design of complex Business Intelligence information models dashboards metrics and reports utilizing technologies and methodologies that meet business objectives. This position will be based out of Everett Washington.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate embodies a unique blend of analytical prowess and collaborative spirit. With a proven ability to collect organize synthesize and analyze data they excel in summarizing findings and formulating actionable recommendations from diverse data sources. Their extensive expertise in business intelligence and associated methodologies empowers them to navigate complex data landscapes with ease. Proficient in data querying languages such as SQL they skillfully analyze source data for seamless sourcetodestination mappings and create comprehensive data models and ER diagrams. This candidate approaches data modeling and analysis from both a technical computing and business process perspective ensuring a holistic understanding of the information at hand. Coupled with strong written and verbal communication skills they thrive in dynamic team environments fostering collaboration and driving collective success.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintenance and development of data dashboards to track key performance metrics for the AP Systems

  • Develop and support a centralized AP System Data Warehouse (single source of data) that will support Functions enhancement of daytoday operation tracking.

  • Create/maintain an individualized single data view containing key KPIs for that individual lead first line manager and senior leadership

  • Develop the AP Systems Hub and Spoke BI Model to ensure common BI goals and targets throughout the Functions. Improve ASIs connection with the Functions BI Analysts for a twoway support system.

  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation and Boeing Artificial Intelligence capabilities to support AP Systems objectives

  • Creator and owner of an AP Systems Business Intelligence Process Guide and Playbook documentation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 2 years of experience in business analytics.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of experience in business analytics.

  • Bachelor of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study is preferred.

  • Experience with project management and self managing projects

  • Experience with Agile Scaled Agile Framework or related frameworks

  • Experience working in a software development environment

  • Experience telling stories via data visualizations.

  • Experience working with BI tools like Power BI Tableau and Cognos.

  • Familiarity in SSIS SSAS for ETL package creations and source code repos such as Git.

Summary Pay Range:

  • Associate (level 2): $75650 $102350

  • Experienced (level 3): $94350 $127650
