FAES Mahoning CountyThis position is located in Ashtabula County in Jefferson Ohio.
Ohio State University Extension (OSUE) seeks a Program Assistant to work programmatically with county staff and volunteers to plan conduct and teach programs in Ashtabula County. The Program Assistant will support the 4H Youth Development and Agriculture and Natural Resource (ANR) programs by assisting with specific educational programs relating to STEM youth agricultural programs youth training programs 4H school enrichment programs 4H project evaluation events camp and participate with county committees. Additionally the Program Assistant will provide support to 4H and ANR related county level events and opportunities including training/meetings. The Program Assistant will work with partner agencies to schedule events and activities and assist with other 4H and Agriculture and Natural Resource information.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in relevant field may be preferred. 2 years of relevant experience required. 46 years of relevant experience preferred.
The pay range for this profile is $16.49 $21.69/hourly. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity units available budget and the candidates qualifications.
