RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform biweekly payroll duties. This includes working in the timecard system to finalize payroll.
Manage A/P purchasing duties
Perform 403b processes within payroll
Manage QuickBooks setting up and maintaining vendor accounts
Reconciling of agency credit card transactions.
House HFA Debit Cards and agency cell phone accounts
Train employees on finance department requirements
Provide responsive support regarding financial inquiries in areas of accounts payable purchasing and payroll
Assist Finance Director with preparation for annual audit
Perform special projects as directed
EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree in Accounting preferred
EXPERIENCE: Three plus years experience nonprofit and fund accounting experience
SKILLS:
Knowledge of MS Office automated payroll & general accounting software required QuickBooks preferred
Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks
Ability to work independently
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must work flexible hours
Must be prepared to travel to various program sites and various communities.
