As the Division Facilities Coordinator this position will supervise private contractors and vendors as they perform maintenance to buildings to make sure they meet all requirements of the specifications which includes Federal and State electrical and construction codes. The employee will perform highly skilled work in the general maintenance and repair of buildings related equipment plumbing heating/cooling and electrical systems for the facilities in the Division. The employee will coordinate with Facilities Management on new construction and facility upgrades. The employee will serve as the Division contact for the State Fire Marshall and facilitate all necessary repairs to meet code requirements.

The employee will be expected to work outside in varied temperature and weather conditions. The employee will be expected to perform moderate physical activities such as walking climbing kneeling and be able to lift 50 pounds. The employee may need to work nights weekends and holidays as required for assigned projects in Division 2. Duties involve operating a stateowned vehicle. Safety toe shoes are needed for this position.

Minimum Education and Experience High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two (2) years of progressive experience in the assigned trade areas; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Necessary Special Qualification
May require current certification by the Environmental Protection Agency as a Type I II III or Universal technician as required by Title 40 Code of Federal Regulations Part 82 Subpart F.
