At Sandvik Mining and Rock Solutions and Division Rock Tools were now looking for a collaborative Product Manager for our Rotary and Raise Boring Tools Product Line Drill String Products.

About your job
In this position you oversee the development lifecycle and market success of our Rotary and DTH drill string products. This involves close collaboration with engineering manufacturing planning and sourcing sales and marketing teams to ensure the products related services and supply chain meet industry standards and customer needs.
Your job also includes:
- Develop a vision and product roadmap aligned with our strategic goals.
- Conduct market research and analyze user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Lead the introduction of new products and make decisions on the phasing out products.
- Specify product specifications focusing on durability efficiency and safety.
- Control and lead planning and sourcing activities in line with the global strategy.
- Ensure that the quality standards are met in all regions.
- Collaborate with Rotary bits PM and DTH PL to align on the product roadmap and growth strategies in the sales areas and global supply strategy.
The location for this position is Sandviken and we apply a hybrid work setup. Travel is included to meet with stakeholders customers and support team efforts across different locations.
Your profile
Were looking for someone with several years experience in product management preferably within the mining and construction sector. You have a broad understanding of dill string products and mining applications coupled with commercial acumen and a strategic mindset. Your knowledge is backed by a degree in engineering business or a related field. Acting in a global environment calls for good skills in English verbally and in writing.
In addition to your technical expertise you have excellent leadership communication and stakeholder management skills able to articulate product visions and updates as well as inspire and guide crossfunctional teams. You have a strategic and problemsolving mindset enabling you to address challenges find innovative solutions and make datadriven decisions. Additionally you also have the ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business priorities.
