Amazon Web Services (AWS) is growing rapidly and we are looking for a Trainee Data Center Technician to join our Rack Decommissioning team as part of our Work Based Learning Program (WBLP).
As a trainee you will participate in our 3 months work and training program. This position will help ensure overall availability and reliability for our customers within our Data Centers in Sweden.
Key job responsibilities
Installing new rack equipment
Decommissioning existing racks
Repairing and diagnosing broken servers
Handling computer equipment and parts
Managing network hear during installation decommissioning and repair

In this role youll be working on our advanced ticketing system
Youll be part of a collaborative team that keeps our cloud infrastructure running smoothly responding to both automated directives and team leadership with exceptional time management and adaptability.
Your expertise in problem ticket tracking and escalation procedures will be crucial as you consistently meet and exceed Amazons high standards for technical proficiency and operational excellence. This role is vital in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our sophisticated data center infrastructure youll be working and supporting the face of Cloud technology in the region.

High school or equivalent diploma
STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education
Are 18 years of age or older
Work 40 hours/week
This position also has a physical component requiring the ability to lift & rack equipment up to 20Kg; it may require working in cramped spaces or in elevated locations while adhering to health & safety guidelines.
Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems
Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
Has taken STEM or vocational course curriculum
