Summary of Responsibility
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Manager to join Finalsite team in India (Chennai). The ideal candidate will have extensive handson experience strong management and execution skills to lead SRE team effectively ensuring the reliability scalability cost and performance of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Lead and mentor a team of SRE engineers fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives and expectations providing regular feedback and performance evaluations.
- Drive the adoption of best practices in reliability automation and performance optimization.
- Experience with migration and transformation of legacy enterprise services to efficient and redundant cloud architecture
- Technical Expertise:
- Oversee the design implementation and maintenance of scalable reliable and secure infrastructure on a public cloud.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery planning for critical services.
- Lead incident response and act as incident manager. Drive the team to execute root cause analysis and implement proactive measures to prevent recurrence.
- Execution and Delivery:
- Manage and prioritize the SRE teams workload ensuring timely delivery of projects and tasks.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and implement SLAs SLOs and SLIs.
- Continuously evaluate and improve monitoring alerting and logging systems.
- Influence and Collaboration:
- Advocate for reliability and performance within the broader engineering organization.
- Participate in technical discussions providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
- Represent the SRE team in crossdepartmental meetings and external forums.
- Partnering with application development team and architecture leaders to deliver operational readiness for the new products and features
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills:
- Extensive experience with AWS. Experience with GCP is a big plus.
- Strong understanding of infrastructureascode (e.g. Terraform Chef).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. Python Bash Ruby).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g. Kubernetes Helm).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. GitLab CI).
- Management Skills:
- Proven experience in managing and leading engineering teams.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle conflicts and provide effective resolutions.
- Professional Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in SRE or DevOps roles.
- Minimum of 4 years in a management or leadership role.
- Experience with largescale distributed systems.

RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
Finalsite offers 100% fully remote employment opportunities however these opportunities are limited to permanent residents of Poland. Current residency as well as continued residency within Poland is required to obtain (and retain) employment with Finalsite.
