Assistant Management Accountant West Bromwich Maternity Cover contract 15 months Office Based Salary 35000
Are you a detaildriven finance professional looking for your next challenge Seymour John are exclusively partnering with a wellestablished manufacturing business in West Bromwich who are actively searching for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their busy finance team on a 15month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a collaborative and wellstructured finance function where your input will be valued and your work will directly contribute to business performance.
Hours of work are 07:3016:30 (MonThurs) and 07:3012:30 (Friday)
About the role
As Assistant Management Accountant youll support the Finance Manager in managing the day to day running of the finance department. Duties in the role include:
- Daily and weekly cash management
- Managing GL payments and company banking systems (including CID & cash control)
- Assisting with monthend accounts: accruals prepayments payroll reconciliations
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and VAT/statutory returns
- Supporting with P11Ds Barclaycard statements National Statistics submissions
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Supporting the AP function as needed
- Assisting with yearend audit preparation
Personal Profile
Were looking for candidates with prior experience in a similar role and solid management accounting knowledge. Youll bring an analytical mindset attention to detail and the confidence to work proactively in a fastpaced environment. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential along with the ability to prioritise effectively and meet deadlines.
