Ready to lead on curriculum and coach others but not quite ready for full HoD responsibility
An ambitious secondary school in Feltham Hounslow is offering an exciting English Teacher TLR role for September 2025.
This permanent fulltime role is ideal for an experienced English specialist ready to teach KS3KS4 while leading on curriculum mentoring colleagues and driving departmental progress.
This is an ideal opportunity for a current English Teacher looking to step into middle leadership within a supportive school that values strong teaching reflective practice and crossdepartmental collaboration.
English Teacher TLR Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3KS4
- Take a lead on curriculum pedagogy or assessment strategy
- Mentor colleagues or contribute to ECT development
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Person Specification:
- UK QTS and English or Humanitiesrelated degree
- 3 years teaching experience preferred
- Track record of strong pupil progress and engagement
- Experience or interest in mentoring others
