Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team in Maltby United Kingdom. As a Sales Assistant you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting our sales efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic retail environment and contribute to the success of our store.
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and recommendations to customers
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash credit card payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Restock merchandise and create attractive product displays
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Stay updated on product knowledge and promotions
Qualifications :
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash accurately
- Proficiency in operating POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating positive experiences
- Ability to learn and retain product knowledge
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Availability to work in Maltby United Kingdom
