What we are looking for

  • An individual with strong interpersonal skills and good people management ability
  • Being innovative proactive and reliable able to work alone and within a team
  • Sufficient experience in a similar position and strong Front Office / Managerial experience
  • An ambassador who must have a passion for hospitality being a role model as a leader and having a drive for sales

JOB SUMMARY

Serves as the property Manager on Duty overseeing all property operationsensuring its high quality as well as maintaining andexceeding standards during the overnight shift. The Assistant Night Manager will also;

  • Representproperty management in resolving any guest or property related situation.
  • Personally assistin resolving any issues and completing tasks.
  • The Assistant Night Manager needs to have a strong background in a hotel night time front of house role with a passion for creatingmemorable moments attention to details and personalised guest service.
  • Provideservices that meet and exceed guest expectations at every turn ensuring ongoing repeat business and loyalty from our guests.
  • Improves service offering from all departments by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs providing guidance feedback and individual coaching when needed. Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize organize and accomplish theirwork
  • Assists Front Office Manager and Night Manager in all areas to ensure a correct and smoothlyoperating department
  • To anticipate guests needs whenever possible to enhance quality service and in turn enhance guest satisfaction.
  • To carry out departmental standards in accordance with the SOP Manual.
  • To ensure correct billing procedures are followed with minimum adjustments and ensuring strict attention is paid to the Hotels credit policy. Monitor on a daily basis all guest credit limits ensuring we have a valid payment method for each guest.
  • To complete all daily audit checks and ensure any discrepancies are followedup and resolved immediately.
  • To be aware of all emergency procedures and be able to put systems in place to minimise disruption to guest/operation.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED; 4 years experience in the guest services front desk housekeeping or related professional area.

OR

2year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management Hospitality Business Administration or related major; 2 years experience in the guest services front desk housekeeping or related professional area.
