Role Overview

Otis is growing and is looking for a Trainee Engineer to be based out of Portlethen Aberdeen covering Aberdeenshire.
Your priority is to ensure the safety of passengers and technical stakeholders by safely maintaining a portfolio of elevator and escalator units.

As a Trainee Lift Engineer you will be expected to;
Work alongside a qualified Lift Engineer
Study towards completing your NVQ Level 3
Help towards the service maintenance and repair of lifts.
Get involved with planning of engineering works.
Work efficiently and in a safe manner in accordance with all Health and Safety guidelines.
Liaise directly with the customer whilst on site and build a good working relationship
Required Experience
Ideally to come with a technical background in electrical engineering.
Hold a N.V.Q/Alevel or completed apprenticeship in an allied trade.
Overall team player with a customer focused mindset.
An interest and passion in solving technical problems to think outside the box.
Live within a commutable distance to Aberdeen.
Able to drive with access to your own vehicle.
