Receptionist Wonthaggi Hospital & Phillip Island
Wonthaggi Hospital services the Bass Coast and South Gippsland shire communities and offers a range of services including Pathology Acute Ward Radiology Theatre and Maternity. The Imaging Associates team is excited by the opportunity to provide radiology services to the community in this region and seek to engage a highly qualified and dedicated radiography team providing a range of highquality imaging services.
We are looking for multiple friendly and professional Medical Imaging Receptionists to work fulltime or parttime across our Bass Coast Hospital and/or Phillip Island location.
As the Receptionist for our Radiology department you will act as the first point of contact for all patients. We need you to provide topnotch service and care to everyone who walks through our doors: compassion and empathy are key and you will work collaboratively with our clinical team to ensure that our radiology service offering is provided in a professional and respectful way.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcome patients and provide them with information about their appointment
- Liaising with hospital staff to facilitate in patient imaging
- Manage calls and patient bookings
- Respond to enquiries from patients and referrers
- Manage patient invoicing and receipting

Experience Required
To be successful you will need to have:
- Proven experience in a similar role ideally in the healthcare/medical industry
- Exceptional customer service skills both facetoface and over the phone and communication skills
- Confidence with technology and the ability to learn new systems
- Strong MS Office suite experience
- Experience working autonomously and part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
- Available to work Thursdays and Fridays
- Available to work 35 days a week with a rotating roster across 8am 5.30pm (i.e. 8am to 4.30pm or 9am to 5.30pm) and the occasional Saturday 8am to 12pm
